The Society's Journal is published four times a year and distributed to members in both print and electronic PDF format.
The Journal is produced quarterly in March, June, September and December.
Features include articles on Kent families and places, as well as articles of general interest to all family history researchers. In addition regular slots included Member Interests, Know Your Church and Family Heirlooms.
The Society has digitised back issues of the Journal from the first issue in 1974 to date, and these are available to download in the Members Area.
Note: Members must provide and maintain a current e-mail address to receive the electronic PDF version of the Journal.
The print Journal is sent to the mailing address provided by the member and can be updated online in the Members Area or via email contact with the society.
We welcome new articles for submission to the Journal. The decision which articles to publish is made by the Editorial team. Photographs are always welcomed but please do not send originals of printed images, as we would not be able to guarantee their safe return. You must also have permission from the Copyright holder if applicable.
Copy is preferred via email as a Word Document. If submitting photographs, please send as separate attachments, indicating their required position in the text.
Editorial guidelines for contributors
Shorter pieces for fillers are always welcomed, as are snippets from other sources such as Parish Registers, wills etc.
