Kent is fortunate to be home to numerous archives
The Kent Family History Society Archive houses an extensive archive of materials of interest to the family history researcher. Extensive monumental inscription, birth, marriage, death records are maintained as well as a database of Kent based records not available elsewhere including school, business and family records.

In addition to the Kent FHS Archives, there are many other archives and local studies based in Kent including local libraries, family history groups, probate records, institutions, and local history groups.
