The Family History Federation tent was situated in the shade of a friendly tree which helped keep the heat off those who volunteered to help visitors with family history questions.
KFHS Chairman Viv Carter said how pleasing it was to have so many young people enquire about how to get started with family research and the FHF had a helpful booklet on the subject to hand out.
