Stuart Bligh from the Kent History and library centre at Maidstone gave us a talk about the changes that had taken place, the centralisation of archives, better cataloguing etc. He acknowledged the difficulties that taking records from local centres would cause problems to some and they were working to make more available online, either through libraries or home computers.
