The records of thousands of volunteers who served with the Royal National Lifeboar Institution (RNLI) are now available online.
Kent has a significant coastal boundary and has a strong association with the RNLI.
Current life stations include Dungeness, Dover, Gravesend, Littlestone-on-Sea, Margate, Ramsgate, Sheerness, Walmer, and Whitstable; although there used to be many more including Broadstairs, Folkestone, Hythe, Kingsdown, Kingsgate, New Romney, and North Deal.
