About the talk
Andrea will be telling the relatively unknown stories of the plucky women who made new lives overseas after the death of their husbands in the Great War.
About the speaker
Andrea is an experienced speaker both in person and online. She is a writer and researcher with an interest in the social history of the First World War. She has written a number of books, including 'British Widows of the First World War - the Forgotten Legion' and 'Deserters of the first World War - the Home Front'. She is also currently Book Reviews Editor for the Western Front Association.
