About the Talk
Family Photography; Past, Present and Future -  is a light-hearted look at how photography evolved over 175 years from vanity purchase to an everyday event. Also, what is happening to photographs from our own immediate past and how to ensure that photographs from now are available to our descendants

About the Speaker
Stephen Gill is a professional photographer and a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. He is a qualified teacher of photography and taught digital photography at Blackburn College before starting his own photo-restoration business.

During lockdown, he started writing his first book on dating old photographs and has since published four volumes on the subject. He regularly speaks around the world about uncovering the stories behind historical photos.
