As part of the redevelopment of Maidstone Museum's Local History Gallery there will be a competition from Monday 17th March to Tuesday 1st July 2025 to find the oldest family in Maidstone. That is the family that has the longest presence in the town.
The prize will be for this family to be immortalised in the museum's Local History Gallery with a beautifully crafted wooden handheld information board. This board will detail the competition and the lineage of the winning family, ensuring their place in Maidstone’s rich history. More details..
