At the inaugural Virtual Meeting of KFHS Hilary Blanford gave a short talk with a presentation about war medals earned by the men of her family. After the talk Hilary opened the meeting to members for questions and an orderly discussion took place on the subject of medals, why some men never received them, could replacements be ordered etc.
Before closing the meeting, Hilary asked if those in attendance would like to introduce themselves. There were over 22 participants, with members hailing from Australia, Canada, Essex, Oxfordshire, Sussex and, of course, Kent. Several members said it was really good to be able to put faces to names and agreed they would like to join KFHS online talks in future.
