Paul Cullen came to talk to us about Kent surnames; in particular those with connections to Kent.
He took us through many variations and changes from 12th – 16th century of the names he selected. Names originated from place names, occupations, nicknames and pet names. He showed, with the aid of slides, the concentrated areas of surnames in other parts of the British Isles.
