The Branch AGM is usually held in April but was held over one month because our guest speaker could only attend in April and not May.
Carol Paul, our Chair, was on holiday but had tendered her resignation as Chair in her annual report, although, she is happy to remain as part of the Branch Committee. Carol had been in post for at least 15 and probably 20 years and at the next meeting she was thanked and given a card and gift.
Margaret Emerson was duly elected as the new Branch Chair and for the meantime Anne Ashdown will represent the Branch on the Executive Committee
