The omens were not good for our December meeting with our speaker having to withdraw earlier in the day due to the weather and on a wet and freezing night finding a cold hall due to a failed boiler!
However the hardy few who arrived with goodies enjoyed an improvised quiz involving identifying the top 147 surnames in England and Wales from 1997 with mixed success, Davies and Cooper being the last in the top 30 to be named.
There was then an informative review of our personal progress in 2017 with much discussion and advice on DNA and anecdotal evidence of amazing breakthroughs and cooperation whilst the food was consumed.
