Peter Ewart entertained us all with tales of Victorian and Edwardian schooldays, For many of us it brought back memories of our own schooldays, even if they were long after the Edwardian days! It was interesting to see examples of school log books and the information that could be available in those and also to see some of the letters written by parents (and children) asking to be excused school!
