It was a really fantastic & enjoyable day. Those involved helping with the stall, which was quite busy with people coming in to read the display and the historical panels, were: Sharon Morris, Suzanne Green, Sheila Harris , Jean Marsh, Carol Kinnon and Mike Lucas (Thanet Branch)
The team of researchers and writers of the histories on this occasion were: Doreen Collins, Sheila Harris, Peter Rose, Suzanne Green, Sharon Morris. They had researched the WW1 stories of a number of local families and worked with Year 2 class of Ellington infants school to involve the children in the displays. A BIG thank you goes out to them all: both adults and children.
The children, who are all just 6 or 7 years old, produced fantastic work for the WW1 exhibition and these were displayed alongside our more experienced researchers work at Ramsgate's Battles For Victory event.
