The title of this month’s talk was “Elizabeth Carter, A Different Perspective”, and was given by Pat Smith. This provided a fascinating insight into the life of a remarkable lady, one who spent a significant part of her life in our town. The meeting was well attended and well received by all. Pat demonstrated her thoroughness which gave food for thought to us all on how to pursue research in order to get to the heart of a topic.
