Following the Branch AGM we had joint guest speakers LucyAnn Curling and Clive Boyce.
LucyAnn started by relating her problems trying to identify correctly her Gt. Gt, Grandfather John Curling. She used slides to show his baptism and marriage in Kent and also a 1714 Will that helped her go back to earlier generations.
Clive Boyce then took over and started by explained his family connections with LucyAnn. He had also found Wills relating to the family. In a Will dated 1757 he discovered that a family member had once owned a Race course at Wooten.
