Our Speakers Secretary put herself on stage for this evening’s presentation with slides.
Viv gave us interesting examples of how she had used various newspaper reports in researching her own family history. Not only did the reports show births, marriages and deaths but also divorces. She also showed us reports of funerals, court appearances and accidents and advised us not to overlook the information that Newspapers can provide in our research.
