Curling Wisps of History
Following our 2023 AGM Lucy Ann Curling gave us a talk ‘Thanet to Tasmania’ concerning 3 generations of the Curling family. She explored the local farming traditions, education etc. and family dynamics.
LucyAnn Curling has just published the first book of a series about her Curling Ancestors. This talk was taken from that first book and it left all of us eager for Part 2, and to know: Why did the family leave these shores to make a new life thousands of miles away? Why did they leave one child behind?
