About the Talk
Emigration from Britain at the end of the 19th century and the age of the ocean liner replaces the previously advertised talk by Andrea Hetherington which had to be cancelled by the speaker due to personal reasons. We hope to have Andrea's talk next year.
About the Speaker
Dr Judy Hills taught history at the University of Surrey and is now a freelance lecturer and researcher. Judy gives lectures to many groups including the Family History Federation , Institute of Genealogists, History and Family History societies, Probus, NT and university groups.
