The monumental inscriptions were recorded in 1991 and 1992 by members of Deal and Walmer Family History Group, members of the Maritime and Local History Museum and Friends of the Museum and issued on microfiche.
Scanned copies of the microfiche are included with alphabetical indexes of names and plans.

Transcription of the burial registers for Faversham Cemetery, Kent:- containing details of about 8,000 burials between 1898 and 1952

An index of the burial registers from 1898-1952 was published on microfiche and CD, a digital copy of the index is included.
An index to later burials from 1952 to 1975, when management of the cemetery transferred to Swale Borough Council, was only sold on microfiche and a scanned copy is included.

The Cemetery situated in Maidstone Road, is owned by Marden Parish Council. It has been open since 1932 and has had over 1600 burials and interment of ashes.

The file contains a list of burials with (usually) the date of death that was donated by the Parish Council, together with a plan showing the location of the graves and photographs, taken by Anne Ashdown, of all headstones standing in 2022-3.
The Society would very much like to thank Marden Parish Council for permission to use their list of burials to cross reference the photographs.

A transcription of the cremation registers, with more than 52,700 cremations of, not only residents of the Medway Towns (Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Rainham, Strood etc), but also residents of Maidstone, Gravesend, Dartford, Sittingbourne and many other places in North Kent. The records have been arranged by date and name.

A transcription of burials in the cemeteries at Strood, Kent. Burials in the "old" cemetery cover the period 1858-1924 (900 plus entries). The "new" cemetery in Cuxton Road opened in 1883 and a transcript of burials to 2020 is included.

The file contains an index to names on headstones in the cemetery in both name and grave order together with scanned copies of microfiche 15 and 17.
