The Office of National Statistics wants the public to share their opinions about the administering of the 2031 census.
A full census has taken place in Britain every ten years since 1841 (except for 1941), and records are made public after one hundred years..
The ONS wants to hear about the purposes that family historians use data in a census and their requirements for the 2031 census.
The census also covers two new proposed topics: type of health condition, impairment or disability, and income.
