THE BOOTSHOE BOYS

An account of the Elham Charity School

This Charity which dates from 1723, was established to provide poor boys of Elham with schooling and clothing. It will be invaluable to family historians and all those interested in the history of this part of East Kent and early schooling, both charitable and National. The Charity also provided apprenticeships over a very wide area.
