THE KFHS JOURNAL

The Journal of the Kent Family History Society is part of the service offered by the Society and is intended to be at the disposal of members.

All paid-up members receive a copy of the Society's Journal which is published four times a year in March, June, September and December. Regular features in the Journal include Branch News, Book Reviews, Family History Happenings, News from the Archives, Noticeboard, Letters to the Editor, Help Wanted and Offered, New Member Interests, Meet My Ancestors and Articles on local families which all assist family history researchers.

Non-members may advertise their requests under Help Wanted & Offered but a charge is made for this service. (It is far better to join the Society and make use of the benefits that membership brings with it). All requests should be addressed to the Hon. Editor.

An Index is available on microfiche for most volumes. (Those not yet available are being compiled at present).

The majority of past issues of the KFHSJ are available for sale but where copies are exhausted, these have been microfiched and are available for sale through either our Membership Secretary or the Microfiche Organiser.
(For addresses see website or back of Journal).

The Society always welcomes new articles (of any length) for publication in the Journal, but the Editor cannot guarantee that every such article will be published, nor when publication will occur. Photographs (a picture is worth a thousand words) are always welcomed, but please do not send your originals, obtain a copy from any photo shop
