DIRECTIONS
FOR KFHS OPEN DAY
Medway Campus By Road
From
the M25: Take the A2 southbound (Junction 2) signposted
Canterbury. After approximately six miles, at the
junction where the A2 and the M2 split, take the
far left lane and follow signs to Gillingham and
Grain, A289. There are also a number of brown
signs with an anchor and the words "Historic Chatham".
These signs will guide you all the way to the campus
along with "Universities" signage. At the first
roundabout take the second exit straight ahead towards
Gillingham. At the next roundabout, take the left
filter lane. At the roundabout at the bottom of
the hill, take the first exit lane marked "Tunnel"
and drive through the Medway Tunnel. Take the first
exit after leaving the tunnel. At the roundabout
take the third exit. At the first roundabout turn
left and then LEFT into the campus. Following sign
for Canterbury Christchurch, University. Pilkington
Room is on right hand side with parking as shown.
From
The South East: From the Channel tunnel take the
M20 and leave at junction 6 taking the A229 towards
Chatham / Rochester. Then join the M2 and head North
to Junction 1 and into the A289 for Gillingham as
above. Alternatively you can use the A2/M2 to the
same point.
From
East Kent: Take the A2/M2 towards London. Exit at
Junction 4 and take the A278 towards Gillingham.
Follow signs to Chatham Maritime/Medway Tunnel (or
Brown anchor signs) and then signs for Universities.
